Wrestling story 4 - Grappling buddies

Story by: Hanvall
Drawing by: Gures

The wrestling evening had been planned at length. The boys would have met at Chad's place, already divided in two teams of three people each, and would have wrestled in the basement, which was large enough. However, they didn't expect Andrew to injury his leg skiing three days before the planned date.

Chad had asked some of his friends who were into wrestling, but none of them could. What was worse, Andrew was in Chad's team and, if they hadn't managed to find out a third guy, the victory would have gone to the other team. So, as the boys got to the basement, there were only five of them.

"You found nobody?" asked Michael while stretching. "Nobody" answered Chad "Everyone's already busy or out of town." "That sucks" commented James "I mean, there must be somebody we can ask to..." That moment, Chad's brother Ash opened the basement door, bringing the boys something to drink. "Thanks, Ash" said James, opening a can. Suddenly, he had an idea. "Hey" said to Chad in a low voice "Do you think he could be our third man?" Chad wasn't sure. "I don't know" he said "I don't know how much he's into sports, actually. We haven't spent much time together, lately. But we can ask, don't we?" "Sure. Hey Ash, would you like to take part to our wrestling match?" Ash looked a bit uncertain. "I don't know" he said "Are all you guys ok with it?" The other team didn't take much time to agree. Ash was only 16 while they were all in their twenties and was smaller than them. It would have been an easy match for anyone of them. "That's ok for us" said Lewis, the biggest of the three. The guys proceeded to write their names and stats on pieces of papers, which were then folded and placed in two small boxes. Ash drew one piece from the box on the left and read it.

"James, 6' 175 lbs." James got up and took off his T-shirt, stepping on the mats barefoot, wearing red shorts. "Michael, 5'9'' 160 lbs." read Ash from the piece took from the other box. Michael, already shirtless and wearing blue shorts, got on the mat. The match was rather quick. Michael at first seemed to have the upper hand, even landing James on the mat and getting on the top, but suddenly James managed to roll them over and put Michael in a Boston crab. Michael grunted his face showed his struggling in the pain. Ash stretched Michael torso to the maximum. Michael slammed his fist against the mats, trying to get free, but in the end he had to give up. "Just because you're bigger" commented Michael after getting up. "sure, sure" replied James, amused, bumping fists with his teammates.

Ash read the names for the second match: "Chad, 5'11'' 165 lbs, versus Dylan, 5'11'' 155 lbs." The boys stepped on the mat, both shirtless and barefoot, Chad with a white speedo and Dylan with black sweatpants. The match was a bit longer than the first one and seemed very balanced. After some attempts at holds, however, Dylan managed to perform a leg takedown and, as Chad was trying to get up quickly, he locked him in a double armbar, pulling with an unexpected strength. Dylan body was lean, but it was all muscle. Boys watched Chad's pecs and arms to be involuntarily tensed. Chad struggled  to escape the hold, but pain was all over him a he finally tapped on his friend's hand. "What a shame" he said in an amused voice after being released, as Dylan was massaging his shoulders "Ash, you have to restore the family honor. And to win for our team."

"So we have..." said Dylan, reading the last two pieces "Ash, 5'9'' 142 lbs, against Lewis, 6'1'' 190 lbs." "We are so screwed" commented James. Lewis stretched on the mats in his black speedo, showing off some impressive solid muscle. Ash gulped before taking off his t-shirt, revealing a lean but really toned body. Chad didn't remember his brother being so defined. Wearing black shorts, Ash stepped on the mats. As the match started, Lewis, who was very quick for his size, was fast in grabbing Ash and squeezing him in a bearhug. Ash panted, clearly in trouble, but held on. Suddenly, he managed to slip one of his arms free, which left him enough space to shift and free the other arm too. He pushed his forearms against Lewis throat, slowly cutting off his air, until Lewis's face became red and he had to release the smaller boy. Panting, Lewis took advantage of the fact that Ash was still a bit dizzy from the bearhug and applied a full nelson on the boy. However, Ash proved to be difficult to be held, especially since his lean but unexpectedly strong arms were already escaping the hold. So Lewis quickly shifted to a standing rear choke but, much to his surprise, Ash grabbed his forearms. Before Lewis could realize it, he felt himself being lifted and quickly thrown on the mat. Still amazed that such a small boy could perform a toss on him, he felt Ash's legs closing against his neck. Panicking, he tried to claw at them, but Ash caught his arms by the wrists and pulled them as his thighs, strong and defined, were squeezing his neck. Lewis tried freeing his arms and his head, but Ash still squeezing his neck and holding his hands turned on his back and exposed muscle body of his prey to other boys. Lewis pecs and six pack were bumped to maximum in agony but he have no chance to release himself from this hold.  After what seemed to be an eternity, he finally tapped.

"I can't believe it" he said, panting on the mats after being released, as Chad and James were complimenting Ash "How the hell you managed to do that?" "Give me one minute" said Ash. He ran upstairs and, after a couple of minutes, got back dressed in a gi. "I've been practicing BJJ for quite a bit" he said "I got my blue belt last week before Chad came back from university. I mean, I was a bit bored of losing every time I wrestled with my friends..."

"You little... bastard" said Lewis before starting to laugh.

Wrestling story 3 - basement fight

Story by: Hanvall
Drawing by: Gures

If anybody wants to have his story posted on my blog, feel free to send me. :)

It was a hot summer day. Warren Donovan and his friend and schoolmate Ray Alvarez were training in the little gym in Ray's basement. Warren, a 6'1'' 205 lbs blond stud, was bench pressing about 225 lbs, while Ray was firing kicks at the punching bag. Ray was 5'11'' and weighed 173 lbs which, thanks to his intensive training in wrestling and martial arts, was all muscle.

After lifting, Warren stood up from the bench and flexed his right bicep, telling his dark-haired friend: "Hey Ray, think you can compete with this?"
Ray smirked and said: "Not with that, Warren, but those guns won't help you much if we were on the mat."
"Oh, you think so?"
"Yes."
"Well" said Warren "Let's see it." And he stepped on the mat that Ray used for wrestling training. Ray did the same. Both took off their T-shirts, keeping only their shorts on. Warren was bigger and buffer, but Ray was very defined and had amazing broad shoulders and a six-pack.

Both guys raised their arms for a lock-up. Trusting in his bigger size, Ray thought it would be easy to push Ray down, but soon realized that the other boy was putting up a lot of resistance. He knew Ray was strong, but didn't expect him to be that strong. Suddenly, he managed to sweep Ray's left leg with his foot and make him lose his balance. As they fell on the mat, Warren expected to crush Ray under his body, instead he felt Ray's feet pushing against his abs. Before he could do something, the bigger boy was lifted over Ray and landed with his back on the mat.

Warren got up and locked up again with Ray. After some panting and grunting, Warren managed to push Ray down and tried to grab his legs. The smaller guy, however, expecting such a move, easily dodged Warren's arms and got behind his friend. He quickly circled his chest with his arms. Warren felt Ray's biceps squeezing his sides, as hard as rocks. With a swift move, Ray performed a belly-to-back suplex. Warren landed on his back once again, but this time he didn't manage to get up, because Ray pinned him, sitting on his muscled chest and putting his knees on his arms to keep him from moving. Smiling, Ray flexed his guns and asked: "So, Warren, think you can compete with this?"
Grinning, Warren tried to get up, but Ray was keeping him firmly at his place. "Looks like no" he replied "I'd better stick with football."
Both boys started to laugh.

Your favorite hold to pin him - Armbar

Break your man down to his stomach. Thread one of your arms over the top of your opponent's corresponding arms (right arm to right arm, or left arm to left arm), and position the forearm of your threaded arm along your opponent's back. In order to get your opponent's arm in a position where this threading is possible, you may have to work for wrists and pull an arm in closer to you. Grab your opponent's opposite wrist with your free arm, grabbing the wrist under his arm. This will steady your control over your opponent. Walk out to the side you have the arm bar, putting pressure on your opponents arm, causing his chest to flip up toward you. Continue exerting pressure with your arm and chest, as you drive with your legs until he begins to turn onto his back and you squeeze him to the mat.

Ideal opponent to finish him by armbar is a guy with huge arms. You will beat his main pride by locking his arm into armbar.

Your favorite hold to pin him - Grapevine

Drive your opponent onto his back by slamming your chest into his. The more chest contact and pressure you can deliver, the better. This move is best if your body is perpendicular to your opponent's at the beginning of the move. Hook your arms through your opponent's arms while simultaneously rotating so your body is parallel to his. Pull up with your legs to lift his arms away from the floor. Wrap one leg around your opponent's leg -the one closest to the leg you're using. Use your foot and ankle to lock it in position. Once you've secured that leg, do the same with the other. Arch your hip forward while lifting your heels toward the ceiling. This picks up your opponent's legs, pulling them off the mat. Keep driving downward with your hips and chest. Use your hands, which should still be near the mat, to keep your opponent from rolling you over in one direction or the other. Continue keeping the pressure on until you score your pin.

An ideal opponent to finish him by grapevine is wrestler who is very tough on his back to secure both his shoulders to the mat. With grapevine even toughest opponent will melt once you spread apart their legs.
